Gallery: 20250729 Cardinal Greenway

One of the rail to trail conversions on my radar to go ride has been the Cardinal Greenway which originates in Marion Indiana and runs for 60+ miles south, south east through Muncie to Richmond Indiana along the former route of the Cincinnati, Richmond, and Muncie railroad line.

I started at the Richmond end and wanted to check out a historic rail bridge that crossed this former rail line and the Whitewater River. Falling daylight prevented a drone flight over the bridge, but I'll be back for that too! Some of the rail history remains as well in the form of mile posts and whistle stops.
