For our March trip to the Outer Banks we trailered the Goldwing along and decided to take it to Ocracoke Island for the day. Unfortunately, we discovered that North Carolina is a helmet law state the hard way in a moment of indiscretion when making a quick trip from one stop to another. Oooops.
