Old Hemple Road Bridge - Drone Flight - July 12, 2023

Being in another area I cruise through with my motorcycle frequently, it wasn't long before I came across this retired bridge in the Moraine area. I'm not sure the bridge's history, but looking at it's configuration I believe it's the original route of nearby Hemple road. And given that it's a single lane bridge, I'd say it's quite obvious why it was replaced.

I'm not sure why they kept it considering it's not connected to anything and doesn't appear to be on a likely future bike path, but maybe it is. I'm sure it was also cheaper to just block it off than to remove it. Anyway, it makes for a scenic break from cruising around.
